Meet the Family Behind the Plants

Hi, we're the Voss family — and plants are kind of our thing.

We're a family of ten: two parents, eight kids, and more houseplants than we can count. Between juggling three family businesses, school runs, and weekend adventures, we found that plants were the one thing that brought us all together. There's something grounding about nurturing a living thing — watching a new leaf unfurl, finding the perfect spot for a rare Monstera, or gifting a plant that becomes someone's new favorite corner of their home.

How We Started

The Happy Monstera Plant Co grew out of a simple truth: we couldn't stop buying plants, so we figured we might as well share the love. What started as a passion project quickly became a family mission — to bring healthy, beautiful, thoughtfully sourced plants to people who care about their homes and the things they fill them with.

Our Plant Philosophy

We treat every plant like it's going into our own home — because many of them have. We source from trusted growers who share our commitment to quality, and every plant that leaves our hands is healthy, well-rooted, and ready to thrive. We're especially passionate about rare and hard-to-find varieties, and we love helping customers find the right plant for their space and skill level.
