☕🌿 Coffee Plant Overview

Coffee Plant (Coffea arabica) is a beautiful tropical houseplant with glossy, deep-green foliage and an upright, bushy growth habit. Famous for producing the coffee beans used to make one of the world's favorite drinks, it also makes a gorgeous ornamental plant all on its own. With patience and the right conditions, a mature Coffee Plant may eventually flower and produce coffee cherries indoors.

Coffee Plants like consistent moisture, but consistently moist does not mean constantly wet! Don't water on a strict schedule—check the soil first. If the top layer is still wet, wait. Soggy soil can cause yellowing leaves and root rot, while letting the plant become bone-dry can cause wilting and crispy foliage.

• Prefers moderate to high humidity
• Appreciates humidity around 50% or higher
• Protect from temperatures below 55°F
• Keep away from cold drafts and heating or cooling vents

  • Perlite or pumice
  • Fine orchid bark for additional aeration
• A container with drainage holes is strongly recommended
